Garnett Misses Cut At U.S. Open

Gallatin’s Brice Garnett missed the cut at his first PGA Tour-sanctioned event ever, the U.S. Open at the Olympic Club in San Francisco. Garnett shot a first-round 78 and a second-round 77 for a total of 155.

Garnett has competed in eight Nationwide Tour events this year, making the cut in all but one and earning $30,689 in the process. Garnett’s highest finish on the Nationwide Tour was a ninth-place
