Council Turns Down TMU Budget

It will be back to the drawing board of the Board of Public Works regarding the 2012-2013 budget for Trenton Municipal Utilities after members of the Trenton City Council rejected the document at Monday night’s meeting.

On a vote of 7-0, the council turned down an ordinance that would have put the budget into effect on May 1. Councilman Jim Bush was absent.
