Checks Written On Non-Existent Account

A St. Joseph woman who allegedly wrote checks on a non-existent account is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center as is a Trenton man who failed to appear in court.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Mistery L. Riley is being held on $750 cash-only bond. She is accused of writing two checks to Pamida in November 2009 on a non-existent account at M & I Bank.
