Finance Committee Meets

The Finance Committee of the Trenton City Council met on Monday, reviewing the city budget and discussion the animal shelter contract.

City Clerk Cindy Simpson said that the committee looked at the first six months of revenues and expenditures in the city budget, which she said “looked good.” Tax revenues are up over last year.
The committee voted to have City Administrator Kerry Sampson visit with the Green Hills Animal
