Mercer Woman Charged With Stealing, Forgery

A Mercer woman was arrested Wednesday and charged with stealing and forgery in connection with an incident at a Trenton resident.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 55-year-old Geraldine Pauley also known as Geraldine McCollum, is charged with stealing by deceit and forgery, both class C felonies. She allegedly appropriated U.S. currency of at least $500 and less than $25,000 by representing to Washington Street Food and Drink a daily
