Puerto Rican Student Spends Month at Local NRCS Office

Puerto Rican college student Freddie Patino has spent the last month working as an intern for the Natural Resources Conservation Service office in Trenton.

As an intern, Patino has learned about conservation programs here, has helped in the office with paperwork and has helped stake conservation practices in the field.
Patino said he was surprised at the size of the farms here.
