Animal Ordinances Get First Reading

Ten ordinances making changes to the city’s animal control regulations were given a first reading by the Trenton City Council on Monday night, with one of the ordinances going back to the Administrative Committee for further work.

Nine of the ordinances, which will be read for a second time at the July 25 meeting, involve the addition of cats to the city’s animal ordinances, including both domestic and feral cats.
