Princeton Rates To Increase

The Princeton City Council approved an increase in water, sewer and garbage rates during a meeting held Thursday evening, as well as approving service contracts and building permits.

According to Assistant City Clerk Danette Summers, the council voted to increase water and sewer rates 5 percent, with garbage rates being increased 4 percent. The new rates will not go into effect until an ordinance is officially passed. Councilmembers also approved
