Man Walking His Way Across U.S.

According to California resident Bill Fairbanks, every person needs a challenge when they retire.

In his case, the challenge was to walk across the United States. And that is just what he has been doing since 2009, passing through Trenton over the Memorial Day holiday.
Fairbanks is a retired anthropologist who spent 41 years at Cuesta Community College before giving up his job in 2007.
