Animals, Students Benefit From Innovative Program

At first glance, pets and teenagers may not appear to have much in common. But actually, they do. Both need to be accepted as individuals, both need structure and both need (and enjoy) recognition when they’ve done something right. A cooperative program between the Green Hills Animal Shelter and the Trenton R-9 School District is meeting those needs for both animals and students.
