Scout Camping Area Gets Grant Award

The Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation is providing a $4,000 grant for construction of a picnic shelter house and a nature interpretive trail at a youth outdoor camp near Trenton.

A 23-acre property on Highway 6 and Southwest 62nd Avenue, west of Trenton, is utilized by Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and other youth organizations for camping and outdoor activities. The property was purchased in 2005 by the non-profit Trust
