Grundy R-5 Draws Road Split In Cainsville

The Grundy R-5 High School basketball teams hit the road on Tuesday, traveling to Cainsville for an HDC Conference doubleheader. In two very close games, Grundy drew a split, dropping the girls game 45-41 and winning the boys contest 47-42.

The Panthers headed into their match-up with Cainsville handicapped as they were without leading scorer Jordan Whitney and another starter in Mitch Alley. The hits weren’t enough to keep
