Chillicothe To Cut School Budget

The Chillicothe R-2 School District is looking to save $1.65 million in preparation for the 2011-2012 school year, according to the Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune.

A budget committee has been formed to look at the school district’s expenditures and revenues as it prepares to formulate a budget for the coming school year. The committee is anticipating not receiving a $129,911 reimbursement from the state for transportation as well as a pro-rated amount
