Princeton Falls To Westran

The Princeton Tigers football season came to a close Monday night as they were defeated in the second round of the Class 1 state playoffs by top-ranked Westran. The Tigers couldn’t overcome undefeated Westran, falling 54-6 at Eddie Allen Field in Princeton.

Westran opened the game with 21-straight points, 14 in the first quarter. Princeton showed some signs of life in the second quarter, however, scoring on a 22-yard pass
