Chillicothe Faces $1 Million In Cuts

The Chillicothe R-2 School District is looking at cuts of more than $1 million that may have to be made next school year based on information from the Missouri School Board Survey completed in August.

The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune newspaper reports that the Chillicothe Board of Education anticipates, conservatively, having to make over $1 million in cuts because of planned decreases or elimination of funding the district expects to see next year. Superintendent
