The Missouri Department of Conservation will be conducting a Hunter Education course on Friday, Oct. 1 and Saturday, Oct. 2 at the KCP&L community room in Trenton.
The course will be 10 hours in length and will run from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. There will be a one hour lunch break at noon on Saturday, at which time students will be on their own.
Students need to be at least 11 years of age in order to be certified. Students will need to bring a pencil, social security number (optional) and proof of age to the course. Students will also need to pick up manuals and pre-register at Easter’s True Value by 4 p.m. on Oct. 1. This will be the last Hunter Education Course offered in Grundy County this year. Persons with questions can call Conservation Agent Jeff Berti at 660-654-2677.
