Heat Keeps Livestock Numbers Down At Fair

The heat is taking a toll on the 2010 North Central Missouri Fair livestock shows, with numbers down in both the swine show and the goat show.

There were 74 hogs entered in the show, about one-half of last year’s entries.
Winners were selected during Wednesday morning’s show and included Kelton Diggs of Chillicothe, who exhibited the supreme champion market animal, a Yorkshire, as well as the reserve
