Hudson, Spickard Win Races In Tuesday Election

Grundy County voters decided candidates in two races during Tuesday’s Primary Election.

Incumbent Steve Hudson won a fourth term as associate circuit court judge, defeating challenger Jason Spillman while deputy clerk Betty Spickard was chosen as the new county clerk, defeating challengers Jennifer Barone and Brandon Norton. Both races were on the Republican ballot and neither will face opposition in November as there were no Democrat candidates on the primary ballot.
