Former Restident Resigns Post

LIBERTY, Mo. (AP) – The superintendent of Liberty schools and a former administrator in the Pleasant View R-6 School District has resigned amid allegations that he and other top administrators abused district credit cards.

Superintendent Phil Wright and the others are accused of not providing receipts for purchases with district cards, including for alcoholic beverages at hotels, restaurants and retail stores.
