Princeton Clinches District Title With 22-20 Victory Over Gallatin

The Princeton Tigers clinched a Class 1, District 9 football title Friday night at Eddie Allen Field in Princeton. The Tigers held off the Gallatin Bulldogs for a 22-20 win that propels the Tigers into the state playoffs.

It was the Tigers’ second-straight narrow victory over a state-ranked opponent as the eighth-ranked Tigers toppled Gallatin, which was ranked sixth in the Class 1 AP poll.
