City Council OKs Bond Ordinances

After a one-day delay, the Trenton City Council approved two ordinances that will allow Trenton Municipal Utilities to move forward with obtaining bonds for its wastewater improvement project.

During resumption of an adjourned meeting from Thursday, the council voted 6-0 this morning to approve new rates that would need to be in place to generate enough funding to pay back bonds over a 20-year period. The utility will be obtaining
