Rising Temperatures Can Lead To Illness, Death

Rising temperatures, combined with high humidity, can lead to heat-related illness and even death if precautions are not taken.

Each year many Missourians suffer from heat-related illnesses and even die from them. Last year, according to information provided by Grundy County Health Department Administrator Kim Oaks, 25 Missourians died due to heat-related causes.
