Guilty Plea Entered

The former postmaster at the Humphreys Post Office has pleaded guilty to money order fraud.

According to information provided by John Wood, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, Janet K. Elliott, 57, Humphreys, began her duties as postmaster on Feb. 10, 2001 and pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court to fraudulently issuing money orders.
