Former Resident To Be Pilot Engineer

Max Williams, a former Trenton resident, will be the pilot engineer on the Union Pacific “Corn Belt” 844 steam engine when it leaves Trenton on Monday, July 2 to travel to Kansas City.

Williams has over 30 years of train services, 12 of which were with the Rock Island Railroad in Trenton. He has been with the Union Pacific the past 12 years. He currently works out of Kansas City
