TMS Eighth Graders Observe Arbor Day

Although Mother Nature didn’t cooperate earlier in the week, eighth grade students at Trenton Middle School were finally successful Friday in planting five more Prairie Fire Flowering Crabapple trees in observance of Arbor Day.

Students in Diana Klingin-smith’s seventh hour science class and Vicki Ferguson’s seventh hour social studies class planted the trees Friday afternoon, with help from the Trenton Park Department and Trenton Tree Board committee members Chuck Lankheit
