Electronic Ballots Not Available

Grundy County Clerk Kristi Urich has announced that electronic balloting will not be available during the April election.

Mrs. Urich said the decision was made due to the cost of using the electronic equipment, which is only required by law to be used in federal elections. Mrs. Urich said the cost to use the automark system for the election is estimated at $5,043.15, while the estimated cost without the system
