Jamesport City Council Meets

The Jamesport City Council met Tuesday, agreeing to investigate the possibility of constructing a dog pound, purchasing additional water meters and changing the vacation policy.

According to information provided by City Clerk Carol Cass, the board discussed the dog situation in the city, with Councilperson Virginia Hopkins proposing that the city pursue building its own dog pound and revising the dog ordinance accordingly. This proposal will be investigated further. A
