Meeting Held on Animal ID

Over 300 people reportedly attended a meeting Tuesday night in Trenton concerning the United States Department of Agriculture’s National Animal Identification System.

According to Bill Grubb, a Princeton resident who was one of the organizers of the meeting, several topics relating to the NAIS were discussed. According to the USDA, the NAIS was implemented in 2004 as a cooperative state-federal-industry partnership to standardize and expand animal identification programs and practices
